Musical Tribute Sponsorship

Sponsor a Musical Tribute in honor of or in memory of a loved one - performed by Ipswich High School Chamber Musicians at the 10:15am Sunday Service.

For generations, Ascension parishioners have honored loved ones by dedicating altar flowers or the aumbry candle. On Sunday, March 1, 2026 we were delighted to introduce a new way to mark special occasions and memories: monthly Sunday Morning Musical Tributes.

Once a month, parishioners may dedicate a piece of instrumental music as a meaningful tribute of their choosing. These offerings will be performed by talented students from the Ipswich High School Music Department, who will enrich our worship while gaining valuable performance experience as paid musicians.

Many of these students are also currently preparing for a Spring 2027 music tour to England and are working creatively to raise the approximately $3,700 each needed for airfare and travel expenses.

We hope you'll enjoy this beautiful new addition to Sunday mornings, and consider dedicating music in honor or memory of someone special while supporting these remarkable young artists.
