“The AMC Youth Outing Club”

“The AMC Youth Group”
In the spirit of such organizations as Outward Bound, Ascension Memorial Church will now offers the AMC Youth Outing Club. This program will be rooted in a number of adventures to be planned and undertaken during the course of the year.
Each adventure will be designed to bring youth safely but intentionally to the edge of their world and slightly beyond. Adventures of this kind introduce us to a deeper experience of what it means to be alive and to learn something more, something important about who we are and what we have to bring to this world—such adventuresome outings are fun, intense, memorable and give participants a deep sense of identity and well-being that endures into the future.
The AMC Youth Outing Club will operate in similar ways to the former Youth Group, inasmuch as the club will engage in fundraising events and some community service projects, while also meeting monthly for fun, food and planning.
