The
readings for Sunday Eucharists are found at a website called
The Lectionary.
Read instructions below before going to the site.
Once
you arrive at the site, scroll down until you see: Sunday
and Daily Bible readings according to the use of the
Episcopal Church, and then Sunday Eucharistic Lectionary
(you will see choices of time periods):
- Please
note that Ascension will now be following the Revised
Common Lectionary in keeping with the National Church's
decision at this summer's General Convention to make this
the official lectionary of The Episcopal Church. The
Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) is found in the right-hand
column on the Sunday Lectionary page.
- Click
on NRSV (not the RSV) for the appropriate
time period and you will be brought to the actual Bible
readings.
- Scroll
down until you find the Sunday that you are assigned and
click on your assigned reading.
- The
text will appear and you can copy and paste it into a
document on your computer.
